The project's main objective is to provide in-service teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively integrate AI tools into their learning design and lesson planning for inclusive education through a MOOC. By fostering a deeper understanding of AI in education, the project aims to enable teachers to design engaging, inclusive and personalised learning experiences for students in a variety of educational settings. Our project plans include:

• Train teachers in AI-supported learning design (LD) to foster inclusive education. - enable teachers to use AI-assisted tools to design lessons that support differentiated instruction and cater to the diverse needs of all students, providing personalised learning paths.
• Develop strategies for effective AI prompt engineering. Help educators craft precise prompts to generate high-quality, pedagogically sound learning materials for inclusive education using AI tools.
• Encourage AI-human collaboration in lesson planning. Teach teachers how to co-design lessons with AI tools, balancing human creativity with AI efficiency to maximise learning outcomes.
• Integrate AI into assessment creation. Teach teachers to use AI to develop real-world, authentic assessments for diverse learners that mirror practical tasks and provide evaluation criteria.
• Promote the ethical use of AI in education. Address ethical considerations, including data privacy and bias, to ensure the responsible use of AI in classrooms.

The target groups for our project include:

• In-service teachers: Teachers who are currently active in the profession and looking to improve their ability to integrate AI into lesson planning.
• School leaders: School principals and administrators who will advocate for the integration of AI in their schools and drive its strategic implementation.
• Teacher trainers: Individuals and organisations responsible for providing ongoing professional development for teachers.
• Educational technologists: Experts in educational technology.
