Tomansa participated in the European STEAME Academies Conference 2026, which took place from 12 to 16 March 2026 in Paphos, Cyprus.

During the conference, the presentation entitled “A teacher-in-the-loop approach to AI-powered learning design” was delivered by S. Retalis et al. The presentation focused on the role of Artificial Intelligence in supporting learning design, with particular emphasis on approaches that keep teachers actively involved in the design and decision-making process.

The event brought together teachers, student teachers, researchers, university professors, education policy makers, education authorities, and representatives of the education industry. Through this dissemination activity, the project reached approximately 80 participants at European level.

This action contributed to the promotion of the project’s work on AI-enhanced learning design and supported dialogue on the responsible and pedagogically meaningful use of Artificial Intelligence in education.
