Tomansa participated in the 11th International Conference “Education and Culture in the 21st Century”, held on 26 April 2026 at Ralleios Girls’ High School in Piraeus, Greece.
The presentation was entitled “Artificial intelligence that listens to teachers: Supporting pedagogical flexibility and creativity in instructional design”. The Greek title of the presentation was “Τεχνητή νοημοσύνη που ακούει τους εκπαιδευτικούς: Υποστήριξη της παιδαγωγικής ευελιξίας και της δημιουργικότητας στον εκπαιδευτικό σχεδιασμό.” The presentation was delivered by Retalis et al.
The presentation highlighted how Artificial Intelligence can support teachers in instructional design while respecting their professional judgement, creativity, and pedagogical flexibility. Special emphasis was placed on AI approaches that respond to teachers’ needs rather than replacing their role.
The event targeted education professionals, teachers of all subjects and grade levels, museologists, museum educators, university students, vocational students, researchers, and facilitators of informal education groups. Approximately 120 participants were reached at national level.
This dissemination activity contributed to raising awareness of the project’s educational value and promoted the idea of teacher-centred AI in learning design.
